She would rather not have scars all over her, but she'd be more concerned how he would view them. In any case, she appreciates that he's thinking about that. That scar on his back is one of her favorites; she often lets her fingertips glide over it when they're lying in bed. That scar led to her escape and their meeting. She's got a scar that looks a little like beneath her sternum from where Bobby shot her. It's healed now, but she didn't take great care of it at the time so it's a little gnarly looking.

His list of compliments makes her smile softly. She will never say no to Sam reading to her or bubble baths. She'll be able to stand on her own soon enough. It will take longer for her not to feel like she's going to faint or throw up from standing on her own. A lack of clothing probably would have led to other things which wouldn't have been a bad thing, but neither of them are really up to it.

Most of the time, Ruby believes Sam when he tells her that all he wants is to spend life with her whatever that looks like. Astaroth knew Ruby well enough to scratch at those buried insecurities and bring them to the surface. With time, Ruby will believe Sam again. Parenthood is something they can discuss a little later down the line. It hasn't even occurred to Ruby that she might have ancestors (descendants) out there. She would be pleasantly surprised by the discovery.

Of course, Ruby had initially thought that Astaroth was there for them. That had faded as she realized it was Dean's voice. Dean had assumed there would be a salt line and had been careful not to break it. As Sam briefs Dean on what's going on, Dean scrubs his hands over his face, trying to think and put together some semblance of a plan for their trip back to the bunker. Ruby helps Sam gather what little they brought in the room. She feels as weak as a newborn kitten, but she's a lot better than she was last night.

"I don't make emotional attachments to mechanical objects," Ruby smirks in response. It's a pointed jab for Dean and very normal for her.

Dean gives her an unamused look. "Baby is not a mechanical object." He grabs the keys for Ruby's car off the nightstand. "Sam, get everything here in the Impala. She's unlocked." In case they had to make a run for it. "I'll grab everything out of Ruby's car." As he starts out the door, he breaks the salt line purposefully.

Ruby isn't going to be running a marathon or even power walking one any time soon, but she can walk to the Impala, especially with Sam for support.
