When Sam has his outburst, Astaroth goes up on tiptoe so that she's close enough Ruby can feel her breath on her skin. "Maybe I was lying just a little bit when I said I didn't think he'd come for you." She lets Ruby's chin go and uses her body to shove away from her, pulling on Ruby's wrists and making her gasp, wincing a little at the pain.
"Oh, but don't you see, Sam. It's about having you both here, but don't worry, hurting you hurts my little Ruby. I like your spunk," Astaroth says as she moves toward him quickly. She makes the cut slowly though, making certain that both Ruby and Sam feel it. "You know, I could do a lot of damage by digging deeper. You'd never be able to use this hand again," she says as she holds his hand tightly, stroking the palm with the tip of the knife. "You really should have picked that mousy little hunter to date. This wouldn't be happening right now if you had."
